Kindergarten Graduation

I can't believe how fast this year went.  Mason loved every minute of Kindergarten and learned so much.  We loved his teacher and his school and look forward to what first grade has in store!

Ms. Koop was an amazing teacher

Mrs. Neal- his KE teacher

I put together a summer of fun basket for the kids when Mason got out of school.  I hope to do this every year because the kids loved it.  I put bubbles, chalk, a slip and slide, cups, snacks, Twister, Concentration, water guns, balloons, window clings, and a milkshake maker.  I also made a Summer Bucket List that the kids later added to.  We love checking things off and should have it all done by the time summer is over.  I'm looking forward to lazy mornings, playing outside, swimming, and trips to the mountains!

Recital

Evie did awesome at her first dance recital.  She was so proud of herself and we were too.  Hoping we have many years of recitals in our future!

After the rehearsal- happy girl!

I might have gone overboard with the flowers.  I thought she would love them, but she was a little overwhelmed!

It's hard/tiring being a dancer!

We loved having Granna, Aunt CC, and Uncle Eric here

Weekend in Frisco/Breck

We loved having Pops, Kathy, and Aunt B come visit.  We spent the weekend at my friend's condo in Frisco.  We basically just ate, drank, and played, but it was a great weekend!

downtown Breck

Bringing the bounce house was a great idea~

ready for the hot tub

I love this view from the back patio

This kid is in his element.  Water, rocks, and mountains are his favorite!

My perfect kind of day.  Music, family, and summertime in the mountains.

Red Dirt at Red Rocks

One of my favorite weekends of the year is the Red Dirt at Red Rocks concert.  Texas Country, Red Rocks, nice weather, beer, and friends is all it takes to make me happy.  This year we were so glad to have Erinn and Trey come with us.  After three years, we have finally figured out how to do it.  We rented a limo to take us, tailgated and then the limo took us all home.  The weather was rainy and cold, but it cleared up by the time the concert started.  Fun was had by all!  A big thanks to Granna to coming in town to keep the kids for us!

The limo driver was early, so he took Mason and Granna around the neighborhood.
Leaving our house heading to the concert

We love having Lauren up here now too!

There is something special about friends who you can pick up right where you left off no matter how often you see them.   They are a couple of our most favorite people!

I was really spoiled on my birthday this year.  I loved that it fell on a Friday off for Matthew and was part of the long Memorial weekend.

a quick grocery store run while Mason was in school

We went to eat lunch with Mason

Mason's Teeth

I noticed one day that Mason's permanent teeth were through behind his baby teeth.  His baby teeth were barely even loose, so after talking to the dentist we decided to have the two teeth pulled so it wouldn't cause any permanent damage.  I had the girls, so I couldn't go back with him.  I was so proud of how brave he was walking back without me.  It took about 30 minutes and he was done.  He didn't like the numb feeling after, but other than that was a happy camper!

He was so excited to finally get to use his pillow!
