New Year's Eve

We had a low-key NYE as usual.  We went to the Rediger's for a little while and then came home around nine for dessert and sparking cider in their "fancy" glasses.  We had a dance party and then a pretend countdown and the kids were asleep by ten.

They live for the weekends when they can sleep on the bottom bunk and "snuggle."  Such great buddies!

Girls' and Boys' Day

One of the days that everyone was here, we split up for a boys and girls day.  Us girls went to Sweet and Sassy for Evie to get a manicure, pedicure, and updo and then headed to Evie's choice for lunch-Chickfila.  The boys went bowling and ate pizza.

This girl can't wait until she can get a mani/pedi

I'm so glad Jordan at least took one picture of their afternoon!

Eric's 30th Birthday

Eric turned 30 the day after Christmas, so Granna stayed with the kids while the rest of us went to celebrate downtown.  We went to a ping pong bar, ate dinner, and went to a couple other bars for drinks and pool.

Christmas Day

The kids played with the toys from Santa for awhile and then we opened the presents under the tree.  We had a drawing for each couple to see what we were responsible for making for our Christmas lunch.  Matthew made a beef tenderloin on the egg, and we had potatoes, broccoli cheese casserole, salad, bread, appetizers, and dessert.   We loved having Lauren and Jono join us since they weren't able to go home for Christmas.  We spent the day eating, drinking, and playing games.  Another great Christmas!

Santa!

Evie asked for a pink big girl bike and an bath tub for her babies.

Charlotte got a few fun toys

Mason asked for Legos and a new scooter.  The air hockey table was a group gift and they loved it.

Christmas Eve

We spent the morning in the kitchen baking cookies for Santa and making homemade cinnamon rolls.  The kids loved to help.

We all got cleaned up and headed to the Christmas Eve service.

Then we came home and waited for Aunt B,  Uncle Jordan, Aunt CC, and Uncle Eric to get to town.  We had our annual Christmas Eve dinner of chili, opened up pajamas, and opened a game for us to play.

The kids we hilarious during this game.
