Evie meets more family!

Donna came back on Wednesday to see Evie and help me around the house.  Thursday, Pops, Aunt B and Aunt CC all came to town.  Pops and Aunt B were anxious to meet Miss Evie!  The Aunties and Granna stayed until Saturday afternoon.  They were all a big help with entertaining Mason, holding Evie, cleaning and doing laundry and cooking great meals.  Evie even had her first girls' shopping trip with me, Granna, Caroline and Sarah.  She slept the whole time!  We were sad to see them go and can't wait for them to come back!

Granna got Evie her first charm bracelet.  Donna is going to keep it at her house and keep adding charms to it until Evie is old enough to wear it.  She is going to journal about what each charm means so that Evie will always know the significance of each charm.  Such a sweet gift!

Aunt B hates living so far away!  Only one more semester and hopefully she will live closer!

So we have had a couple of days just us and it has gone pretty well.  The hardest part is keeping Mason entertained!  Matthew took him swimming yesterday and I think he will again tomorrow.  I am ready to be able to lift again so that I can take the kids out.
Evie is a great baby. We have hardly ever heard her cry and when she is awake she just loves to look around. She can sleep through anything (thank goodness!)  She is eating every 3 hours during the day and will go for about 5-6 hour stretches at night.  We are still having to wake her up at night to feed her, so she might even sleep longer than that if we let her.  We are glad that she is finally putting some weight on.
Evie gets to meet her Uncle Brian, Aunt Kim and cousins next weekend.  We are excited for them to get here!
