Broadmoor

Matthew and I spent the weekend at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs celebrating our anniversary.  It was one of the most beautiful places that we have ever stayed.  I want to go back and see it during every season!  We got massages, ate great food, relaxed, slept in, walked around the resort, and just enjoyed uninterrupted time together.  I love that we have managed to have a get-away for every anniversary so far.  I hope that we are always able to do that.  A big thanks to Donna for coming to keep the kids so we could go!

I love fall in Colorado!  Coats, boots, and hot apple cider made for a great afternoon.

Champagne to celebrate.  The tub has its own tv, and a little opening into the bedroom and view.  That little tv screen to the left of the bucket controlled the window treatments in the room.  We were pretty impressed!

After an hour massage, I stayed in the spa and read for over an hour in front of this fire place.  Heaven!

We had a great dinner at Summit.  My favorite was the lobster mac and cheese, and Matthew's favorite was a Bacon and Bourbon drink.

We had the most fabulous Sunday brunch ever and then headed home to see our babies.
