Mother's Day 2013

This Mother's Day weekend we spent moving.  I hate moving.  I do love our new house and it is kind of fun decorating, but I hate finding places to put all of our stuff.  The movers were three hours late, didn't bring a big enough truck which caused them to have to make two loads and four extra hours, and broke our patio table.  Anyways, we are getting settled and like all of our extra space.  I will post house pics when it is done.

Mason's class put on a Mother's Day program that was so cute.  They did a skit, sang songs, and gave us cards and homemade sun catchers.

I love this picture because it is real life.  Mason is happy and Evie is screaming because she is not in my lap.
Matthew took Mason shopping for me.  A few months ago when I was sick, Mason brought me his lovey to nap with (which is HUGE!) and ever since he has said that I need my own lovey.  He picked out this orange one and checks every morning to see if I slept with it.  I love it and will keep it forever!  He also picked out this card.  Cracks me up!  He, of course, just picked it because it lit up and played a song when opened.  The song was "I will Survive" which was actually kind of fitting since we spent the day unpacking.  :)

I love being a mom and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.  It is the hardest and most rewarding job I will ever have.  I cannot imagine my life without Mason and Evie in it.  Here's hoping next year will be a more fun weekend!
