Life in April

I went to a MOPs Fashion Show with some friends.  We were honored to get to meet and talk with the President and CEO of Mops International, Sherry Surratt.  It was a great night with some great friends!

If Matthew and I are ever out when the kids go to bed, Mason will leave us a note.  I had this one taped to my bed.

She is everywhere and will climb onto everything!

One day she just needed me to hold her during nap time.  I live for these moments.

First attempt at sponge rollers for dance pictures.

Mason missed his first day of school for being sick since he was two.  He had a  high fever and slept all day, but no other symptoms.  He was ready for school the next day.

Another note from my boy

weekend slumber party

can you say diva?!  She got to wear makeup for her dance recital pictures

digging food out of the trash

I can never get mad at this face!

Her baby, Sweet Pea,  is her constant companion

She always has Sweet Pea with her along with a purse with a bottle, wipes, diaper, and phone.

the mall had a lego exhibit of American landmarks.  Mason loved it!
Daddy taking these two to soccer, while Evie and I went to a birthday party

books are one of her favorite things

very proud of his first bubble

She just smiles this smile when she knows she's in trouble

Evie loves reading bible stories and does pretty good at remembering the names and places of things.  This picture of Adam and Eve though she said, "This is Mary and Jesus and they got married.  They are sad because no one came to their wedding and because they didn't have a bathroom."  Not sure where she comes up with this stuff!

My Mops group served at the Ronald McDonald House again this year.  Two of our members came dressed as Anna and Elsa and were a hit.  I wish I could post the pictures of them with the kids.  It was such a fun night and heartbreaking as well listening to the stories and seeing the sick kids.  I love that we get to do this each year!
