Weekend in Carrollton

We spent this past weekend at Lezlee's and Joel's. We originally picked this weekend to go so that we could help them set up the nursery furniture, but it didn't come in, so we just ended up hanging out. Friday night Lezlee cooked a great meal and Mason got to open his Christmas gifts from them. He got a tent, sit and spin and a Mickey coloring book. He loved them all! Mason loves "wezee" as he calls her, and the last 30 minutes of the car ride to their house he said Wezee about 100 times! (he loves Joel and Duke too!)

Saturday we spent the morning taking pictures for our Christmas card. I think we got some good ones. Saturday night, Mason went to stay with Aunt Caroline for a few hours, so that the 4 of us could go out to eat at Kobe Steaks. After we got Mason to bed, we did our favorite past time together--playing games! We had a good game of Pictionary going, but unfortunately the guys beat us.

Sunday morning, Joel had to go out of town for work, so the rest of us went to eat lunch and shop at the Galleria. Sunday night, Matthew had to go out of town for a Monday morning meeting, so it was just us girls and Mason. Lezlee took the day off Monday, and we went to look at her registry and eat lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. I picked Matthew up from the airport on Monday afternoon and we came back home.

We never have to do a lot with Lez and Joel, but we always have the best time! We are so thankful for their friendship, and I'm pretty sure the next time we will be at their house, their little baby will be there! So, so exciting!!
