Mason-isms

I really need to remember to write down everything that Mason says because he is constantly making us laugh.  Here are a few things that I can remember:

A couple of months ago he woke up screaming saying he had a bad dream.  His dream was that I threw him in the fire.  The next night it happened again, but this time it was because I took him somewhere and left him. (not sure why they have to be bad dreams about me!)  After the third night of these awful dreams, I decided that we need to pray specifically for Jesus to take away his bad dreams.  I'll never forget the next morning when he came running into my room with the biggest smile saying, "mommy the prayers worked!  I didn't have any bad dreams!"  So now we add that specific prayer to our night time prayers and it seems to work for the most part.  There have been several nights where he will come to my side of the bed in the middle of the night and ask me to pray with him again.  We pray for no bad dreams and he walks back to his room and goes back to sleep.  I love his sweet spirit!
This is his favorite outfit for swim school
Another prayer he prayed one night- "dear Jesus, thank you for letting mommy and daddy get married so that we could be a family"  (melt my heart!)

He told me that my job is to "play, cook, and do laundry"  (sounds about right)

At school last week, they were talking about how important it is to be a good helper.  The teachers asked each child what is something that they do that helps people.  Mason's response, "I help my daddy make beer!"
Silly boy loves doing hand stands and cart wheels.

His favorite breakfast right now is raisin toast with "new-gelatin" (his word for Nutella!)

He is constantly bossing Evie around.  The other day she wasn't eating her dinner, and he got in her face and said, "Evie, if you don't eat your dinner, that's IT until breakfast!  You can't have anything else today." (I think he has heard that before!)
He does push ups, jumping jacks, and sit ups so he can "be big like spiderman and hulk"

When playing hide-and-go-seek, he will count and say "here or not, here I come!"

He loves telling knock knock jokes.  He makes up his own, so they are not funny and make no sense whatsoever, but he laughs and laughs after each one.

When did my baby get so big?!

He looked at Evie and said, "you are a really good walker.  You should be in the olympics."

He said to me, "mom, did you know that Jesus can stand on the water?!  He doesn't even have to wear a swimsuit!"
