Last weekend we got somewhere between 10-12 inches of snow in less than twenty four hours. We had never seen anything quite like it. I was so glad that it was on Sunday since we had nowhere that we had to be. We stayed in our pj's, played by the fire, and ate chicken and dumplings. It was a perfect snow day. Matthew didn't love shoveling the snow though!
On Monday morning I left to take Mason to school and got stuck coming out of our drive way. Our neighbor was outside so he came over and helped me out. Evie and I came home a couple of hours later and I just assumed I would be able to get back in our garage. Wrong! I got completely stuck. I tried for about thirty minutes to shovel the snow and ice out from my car with no luck. Matthew had to come home to save the day. Us southerners have NO idea how to shovel snow or drive in it! Our neighbors have snow blowers and know how to clear off their driveways perfectly. I hear that March is the heaviest snow month, so let's hope we learn what to do quickly!
