Random Pictures

February was my month to plan a MNO for my MOPS group so I chose Canvas and Cocktails.  It was a fun night!

Evie is all about playing Beauty Shop right now

Saturday morning donuts

such a mess!

They love to read together in the mornings

more beauty shop

Even Daddy needs his hair fixed
She is loving putting all of her babies in our baby's stuff…the car seat and swing are her favorites.

Friday it was snowing so it was a good day to go for a swim in the tub

They are loving riding this jeep lately

Not too much longer until I can see my feet and Evie's face again!

We talked to Mason the other night about the fact that the baby might decide to come in the middle of the night and that if he/she did, we would have to go to the hospital.  We told him that someone would be here with him when he woke up, but that it might not be us.  I didn't intend to scare him, but I know he needs to be warned about things like this.  I knew that if he woke up and we weren't in bed, he would lose it.  Well of course, he lost it anyways and didn't want to go to sleep because he didn't want us to leave him upstairs all by himself.  He laid with me on the couch and fell asleep in my arms.  I hate that we scared him, but I loved the snuggle time!

We caught Mason in his first lie (that we know of).  I was picking up in his room and looked under his bed and found all of these empty fruit snack packages.  I asked him where they came from and he said not to tell Dadddy, but that daddy gave them to him when I wasn't home and told him he could eat them in bed.  I knew this wasn't true because we never let any food leave the kitchen.  I asked if he knew the difference between the truth and a lie, and he said he did, so I asked him again, and again he lied.  I got Matthew and we both talked to him together.  He of course started crying and then said that he sneaks into the kitchen and opens them with scissors then eats them in bed!  We told him that is not allowed and that we were more disappointed with him about lying to us.  He said he was sorry and that he wouldn't do it again, so we let it go.  He knows the next time he lies he will be in trouble!  He has been apologizing all day for it.  Matthew and I had to go in the other room so he wouldn't see us laughing!
