Our sweet baby girl is one month old. So hard to believe! I love that I do these monthly updates with the kids. Here is Evie at one month.
At her two week appointment she weight 8 pounds 6 ounces and was 22 inches. That means she grew an inch and a half in just two weeks!
Doctor appointment: No appointment this month, but we go back at two months.
Clothes: She is still in newborn diapers and mostly newborn clothes. She has been able to wear some 0-3 month stuff as well. Her legs are so long, so a lot of the newborn stuff (especially things with feet) are getting too short.
Eating: She is taking 4 oz bottles every three hours during the day. Breastfeeding just wasn't working for us, so she is strictly on formula. So far she doesn't seem to have the tummy issues and reflux like Evie did.
Sleeping: She is sleeping pretty well at night. Last week we even had two nights in a row where she slept ALL night (9pm-6am)! We are on a pretty good schedule this week where we feed her her last bottle between 8-9:00 and then she is down by 9:30. She is making it until around 3:30am and then goes back down until around 7:00am. Can't ask for much better than that! During the day she naps a lot, but no consistent nap times yet. She is sleeping in the pack and play in the sitting area of our room. It has been nice because she is far enough away from us that her little noises don't keep me up. We love the chairs in our room for late night feedings/snuggling so we aren't in any rush to move her to her room. During the day her naps are in the car, the nap nanny, swing, our arms, etc. We swaddle her at night, but her naps we haven't been.
Likes: being held, the swing, the nap nanny, watching Mason and Evie, laying on the floor with Mason and Evie, drinking her bottles, the passy (sometimes), being in the baby K'tan
Dislikes: being buckled in the car seat, being cold after bath, getting dressed
News this month: She has been very popular this month. We have had tons of visitors and she has gotten to meet most of the family except for Papa, Uncle Brian, Aunt Kim and Brianne and Brayden, and Uncle Eric. We even survived Daddy's first out of town work trip (of course that was a night that Charlotte decided to wake up several times!)
She has been a great shopping/errand buddy. Her first trip from leaving the hospital was to Target. She is still pretty easy going and only cries when she is hungry or is tired of being in the car seat.
I got this smile when she heard Evie and Mason come into the room!
Check out those long legs and feet!
These kids of course had to be in on the picture!
