Sweet Moments

A couple of months ago, Matthew decided to take Mason up to the office for a couple of hours before school.  They picked up donuts and he ate them and drew in the office, and then Matthew took him to school.  We had no idea what a big deal it would be to Mason!  The first morning they did this, Mason was up at 6 and came into our room completely dressed and with his backpack already on.  He even put on his "work pants" (khaki pants) and asked if he could shave with daddy.  So needless to say, Matthew has been doing this once every couple of weeks!

Matthew said he gets the computers (calculators) and map pencils and just works away!

Love our blue-eyed baby!

Sisters' first tea party.  Evie was so happy to pour Charlotte her tea, but she really wanted her to drink it!

So this has started--She wants me to fasten baby in the car when we run errands.  I love it!

And here she is taking baby into the doctor.

I love holding a sleeping baby

Matthew coordinated with his girls (not on purpose!)
These two are two peas in a pod.

Matthew was out of town this week, and I got Evie put down before Charlotte needed her bottle.  Mason wanted to wait  for me, but ended up falling asleep in my lap.  Love these moments!

One of my favorite moments between these two.  We got home from school and Mason wanted to put Evie down for her nap.  He has been doing this for awhile, but it usually just involves him covering her up and closing the door.  This day he was taking longer than normal, so I went in the hallway to listen.  He was reading her a book and making her repeat the alphabet to him.  Then he started to sing Jesus Loves Me, The Bible Song, and You are My Sunshine.  He kissed her and covered her up and said, "I love you more than ice cream Evie" and she said " I love you more than the stars Mason"

They have become even closer since Charlotte has been here.  They play so well together with only minimal arguments.  I know this may not last long, so I soak up every minute of it!  I joke that they only need me to make their food for them because Mason does pretty much everything else- He has even learned how to buckle Evie into her car seat!

I had Kinder orientation last week.  His principle seems really sweet and the teachers did too.  I will find out in a few weeks who his teacher is and if he is in AM or PM.  He wants to ride the bus, so we will see!

Sweet baby pretty much lives in this car seat!

Last weekend was so pretty so we filled up the sandbox again.  They spent all day outside.  Too bad we are supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow on Mother's Day.
I braided her hair before bed and she swooped it over her shoulder and said she looked like a princess.  This face kills me!

Donna's friend, Marcy, has given monogrammed lovies to all of the kids.  They are my most favorite gifts because my kids love them so much and must have them to go to sleep.  Charlotte was crying the other day while I was trying to get ready so I gave her this and she stopped crying and fell asleep!

We love our church's Parents Night Out every month.  They keep the kids from 6-9 for only $5 a kid.  You can't beat that!  We have kept Charlotte with us the last two months and enjoyed a nice dinner out.
