Charlotte- Six Months

yay for being half a year!

Weight:  17 pounds 9 oz (75%)
Height:  27in (88%)
Head:  44.5cm (96%)

Doctor Appointment:  Everything looked great at the doctor.  Her ears were better after ten days on the antibiotic and she is a happy, healthy baby girl.  She had to get six shots and she did not like that!  He said that we can feed her anything but honey and milk, so we will start experimenting with different foods.

Clothes:  She is wearing 6-9 month clothes and size 2 diapers.

Eating:  She is taking four bottles a day, 8oz each at 8,12, 4 and 8.  She is eating cereal and a fruit or veggie for dinner.  She's tried all the step 1 fruits and veggies (I think her favorites are apples and sweet potatoes)  She has also tried mashed potatoes, avocado, and yogurt.  She needs to get some teeth soon!

Sleeping: She is sleeping great.  She goes down around 8pm and will sleep until 7 or 8am.  She usually gets at least one good two-three hour nap in her crib each day, and will take cat naps in the car.  She needs at least three good naps a day to be a happy girl!

Likes:  being held, the ergo, being talked/sung to, watching Mason and Evie, floor time, rolling everywhere, chewing on everything, Sophie, exersaucer, sitting in high chair, being tickled

Dislikes:  being hungry, being left alone in a room

New this month:  Rolling and scooting on her tummy- she can roll all over the room.  She is getting stronger at sitting up by herself, but can only stay up for about a minute.  Still no teeth.  She had her first double ear infection.  She cried for four hours straight, but luckily once we got a couple rounds of the antibiotic in her she was much happier.  She went to Mops childcare for the first time.  She is starting to get a little separation anxiety.  She does not like it when we leave her alone in a room, but if she can see at least one of us she is just fine.  She is starting to talk and squeal so much more.  I wonder if she will be a talker like her sister?!

Ear infections are no fun

She loves being read to

Snow in September calls for some winter wear
