Mason is SIX!

I will never get over how fast my kids are growing up.  It is just so hard to believe that I have been a momma for six years.  Mason is just the sweetest little boy and I am so proud of the little man he is becoming.
He loves Legos, playing outside, soccer, baseball, watching football with dad, playing with Evie, doing homework, Kindergarten, and loving on Charlotte.  I can't think of a better big brother than him.  He tells me all the time how much he loves Charlotte and that he just can't stop kissing her because she is so beautiful.  He is still best buds with Evie.  He had to draw a friend for a school paper and he drew Evie.  They really miss each other during the day, so they are inseparable in the evenings.  They definitely have their moments, but overall they love playing together.
He is still very much a planner and needs to be aware of what is coming next.  He doesn't take to change very well, but has handled Kindergarten like a pro.  He loves school and wants to do his homework as soon as he gets home.  He also loves getting to buy his lunch and eat in the cafeteria.  He's still pretty shy and can be sensitive, but he is also turning into quite the comedian.  We laugh at the phrases and things he can come up with.  He is just like his daddy, and loves making people laugh!  I love watching him play with his Legos and toys, he has quite the imagination.  He has a sticker on the outside of his door and one on the inside.  You must hit the button before you enter or leave or else you will be caught in a net that will sling you backwards.  Funny thing is that I catch myself hitting the "button" even when he isn't home because he has trained me so well.  :)
He loves life and puts a smile on my face every day.  He is growing up, but still has times where he will sit in my lap and he isn't embarrassed yet to hug and kiss me goodbye in front of his friends.

His birthday morning he woke up to balloons in his room and wanted store bought cinnamon rolls for breakfast.  He lucked out that his birthday fell on a Wednesday because Wednesdays are pizza days at school.  He had cupcakes during class and when I picked him up I surprised him by taking him for ice cream.  He was so surprised and excited about that little treat.  He said, "mom you know how sometimes people cry when they are so so happy?  I am just so excited and happy that I have tears too!"  He seriously was wiping tears from his eyes because I was taking him to Coldstone.  Ha!  That boy loves his ice cream!!
We headed to Chuck e Cheese for his birthday dinner and then home to open his presents.  He said it was the best day ever.  We love that boy so much!
