Charlotte- Ten Months

big girl

Doctor Appointment:  No well visit this month, but I did have to take her in the week of Christmas and it turned out she had bronchiolitis.  She was pretty pitiful for a couple of days, but luckily it didn't turn into anything worse.

Clothes:  She is wearing 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers.

Eating:  She is taking four bottles a day, 8oz each at 8,12, 4 and 8. She eats cereal and fruit midmorning and then again at dinner time.  She loves her food!  She loves any table food we give her too.

Sleeping: She is sleeping great.  She will sleep from 8-8 and I am usually waking her each morning to get the kids to school.  She is still taking three naps a day.

Likes:  She loves to get into everything...her favorites are the toilet, cabinets, and crawling up the stairs.  She loves sitting on mommy's hip, the ergo, following Mason and Evie, putting everything in her mouth, books, songs, she loves dancing to Taylor Swift's Shake it Off.  If that song comes on, she stops what she is doing and bounces up and down.  She loves taking a bath and kicks her legs with a smile when she sees the water turn on.  She will bend completely over and stick her head in the water too.

Dislikes: being left alone in a room, wearing headbands (so sad!  She will take them off as soon as you put it on.)

New this month:
She started crawling on all fours January 11th, and hasn't gone back to army crawling since.  She is fast! She is pulling into standing position, but locks her knees and has no interest in moving them.  She will also put herself into a planking like position when crawling.  Her other favorite position is sitting in a "hurkey" position.  She has found her tongue and will stick it in and out like a snake.  Mason decided that when she does this she is saying "I love you."  I think he may be right!    I introduced the sippy cup with water and she loves to chew on it.  Not sure she is getting much water yet.  She will say "dada" and some other random sounds.  We are working on clapping and peekaboo, but she only wants to crawl and move around.  We have started sign language with her, but so far she hasn't done any signs back.  We love our busy, happy baby!

This was the hardest month to get a picture.  She will not sit still for anything!
