Last week, Erinn, Rebecca, and I hosted a Gender Reveal Party for Lindsey and Neil. I had seen this idea on several blogs and since we don't find out the sex of our kids, I knew that Lindsey would be the perfect person to have one for. She went for the ultrasound on Monday and had the tech write down the gender and put it into a sealed envelope. They promised that they didn't peek! She then took the envelope to Erinn's mom who called the cake lady with the news. The cake lady knew to put either pink or blue icing inside of the cake so that when the cake was cut into, it would reveal the sex of the baby.
We had the party on Tuesday night and made it a dessert party with cake and pink and blue candy favors. We asked the guests to wear either pink or blue depending on what they thought Lindsey was having. We also ordered wax lips for the girl side and mustaches for the boy side. I think it all turned out really cute!

The Lewis' are having another baby boy! Henry William Lewis will be here in August. I can't wait to see if he will be playing with a Montgomery boy or girl! This party was so fun and the reactions were priceless. It ALMOST makes me want to find out, but we will just hold out until July! Congrats Lewis Family! I know Bennett will make a great big brother!
