It is Mardi Gras season here in Louisiana. We have missed a couple of the parades, but made it today to the Highland Parade. This parade is during the day, so it is much more family friendly. The Nolen's, from our SS class, live close to the parade route and invited the class over for the afternoon. It started out a little cold, but the sun finally came out and it was a perfect day. We enjoyed all the good food such as red beans and rice and king cake. Mason jumped on the bounce house for a little while and then we walked down to see the parade. Mason loved waving at the floats and catching the beads.
This boy loves to jump
"watch me Mama" is his most used saying lately
Kisses from my most favorite little guy
all smiles
Watching the parade with Bennett and Neil. I love how Mason is holding on to Matthew's nose!
Beads!
He also caught a stuffed frog and some cups
They even threw moon pies and hot dogs!
Best shot of Bennett, Georgia and Mason
Love this: Matthew pulling the wagon, wearing beads, and carrying a cooler of beer!
These always look fun, but I never garner the courage to actually go! I think it would be very nice if you had friends near-by and didn't have to wait around all day holding your spot. Love the kisses! =)
