Evie is 5 months

We didn't go to the doctor this month, so no height/weight stats this month.
  • Size 2 diaper
  • Size 3-6 month clothes
  • You eat 4 8oz bottles a day at 8, 12, 4, and 8.  We have also been giving you cereal at night and you are getting better at taking it.  I'm sure we will start trying foods soon too!
  • Sleep has been more consistent too.  I put you down around 8:30 and you usually sleep until I wake you up at 7:30 to take bubba to school.  On his off days, sometimes you sleep until after 8.  We have had a few off nights here and there where you wake up and we have to give you your passy and you go back to sleep.  You had a rough few nights while we were at Mimi and Papa's house too, but I am hoping that you just weren't used to the bed or something.  Anxious to get home and get back into our routine!
  • You still have only rolled from front to back.  I guess you will be like your brother and take your time with everything which is fine by me!
  • You are great in the car which has been a blessing this month!
  • You still love your swing, bouncy seat, nap nanny and of course being held.
  • I think you might be teething.  You are drooling constantly and always want to bite down on anything you can get in your mouth.
  • You still have reflux.  You spit up constantly.  I feel like the medicine makes it a little better though.
  • We had a check up with the ENT and he did another scope and said that your throat looks better.  He still says that we just wait it out and see if it clears up on its own.
  • You are overall a happy baby and usually only cry in the evenings.  I have noticed you get fussy when you are gassy and spit up.  I think you will just have a sensitive tummy.  You love to be on the go which is a good thing.  We love your smiles and coos!
  • You have found your tongue.  You think it is so funny when I stick my tongue out at you and you love to do it back.
Showing your tongue

Can't believe that in one month you will be half a year old!
