Thanksgiving 2011

We had a great Thanksgiving and got to see pretty much all of our family.  It was a LONG 10 days of travel, but worth it.  We started off in Abilene the weekend before Thanksgiving and stayed until Wednesday.  Matthew went to work about an hour away on Monday so he was able to come back and work from my parents house on Tuesday.  This was the longest stretch we had seen him in weeks.  Anyways, on Wednesday we loaded up and drove to Graham.  We met up with Pops and the Aunties at the hotel.  We made a quick trip to see Papa and then spent the evening and Thanksgiving day and Matthew's Aunt Susie's.  Most of the Montgomery clan was there so it was good to see them and introduce Evie to them.  Thursday afternoon we drove back to Ennis.  We spent the remaining of the weekend at Granna's house.  I drove the kids back home on Monday.

Sophia let Evie borrow her hat :)

Evie tried green beans for the first time

Love how Mason is holding her passy in and she is just looking at him

Mason loved helping Granna decorate her tree.  He made sure every ornament was in exactly the right spot.

Still working on the tree.
We are glad to be home for the next few weeks getting everything ready for Christmas!
