Our Weekend

We had a fun weekend.  Matthew came home early on Friday so we had 3 full days together.  Friday night we went to eat pizza and just played at home.  Matthew and Mason ran a couple of errands on Saturday morning and then we all went to Newks for lunch.  Mason pretty much just lives on cheese pizza at this point- he gets it everywhere we go!  Both kids took 3 hours naps and I finally got to read Hunger Games and I couldn't put it down.

We went to Target and Evie sat in the cart for the first time.  She is growing up!  :)

First time to bathe together
Sunday after Evie had her morning nap, Mason jumped in her bed with her.  He kept bringing more and more toys for them to play with.  I think this might just be the beginning of this ritual.  They both had so much fun!

he climbed in and out and brought everyone of these toys in by himself!

Sunday afternoon was Mason's first soccer practice.  I have been looking forward to this for months!  We bought Mason this Barcelona soccer uniform when we were in Spain and this was the perfect place to wear it.  He was so excited even though he really didn't know what he was in for.  I wasn't sure if he would follow directions or even participate, but he ran his little booty off.  He followed pretty well and just loved running and kicking. I was impressed with all the kids paying attention and listening.  Georgia wasn't too interested at first, but after a bribe of her getting a pink soccer ball, she decided to participate! Our whole team consists of our friends and Maddies' dad, Andre is the coach. Mason and Bennett are the only boys with Georgia, Caroline, Maddie, and Ansley.  Our first game is Feb. 18th-  I'm so excited to become a "soccer mom"!

Go team!

We ran home with just enough time to put my dips in the oven and then headed over to the Lewis house to watch the Super Bowl.  Neil smoked pork and we had pulled pork sandwiches and lots of dips and desserts.  It is always fun to be with our friends and I love that Mason gets worn out by running around with the other kids!

we had a great halftime show from the kids
