Granna, Aunt CC, and Eric all came in for Mason's first soccer game. We were sad that it was cancelled because of the rain. Mason, of course, loved all of the extra attention! We went to Superior for lunch and enjoyed a few margaritas.
That night we had plans with our friends. Erin D. put together a fun night out with our own taxi van to shuttle us around. We went to a Murder Mystery dinner. The play was a little cheesy, but we had a fun night out anyways. I know I say this a lot, but we are so blessed and thankful for the friendships we have made here. It is so nice to have couple friends that are in the same season of life that we are, and that not only do all the wives and husbands get along, but all of our kids have grown up together as well. As much fun as it is to have all the kids together, this was a much needed adult night!

Sunday morning we all loaded up and headed to Dallas for Sophia's first birthday party. It is hard to believe that she is ONE! Her party was at Gymboree and was so much fun!

Monday morning, the kids and I headed back home. Mason is usually so good in the car, but I guess since we were already back in the car after only one day he was worn out. We had only been on the road about 30 minutes and he was asking to get out, so I stopped about halfway and we ate at Cracker Barrel. This seemed to help and he was fine on the second half of the trip.
