We are trying to get into a new normal. I love living here on the weekends because there is so much for us to do together, but I miss Shreveport and our friends during the week. It is lonely not having any other mom friends and kids to play with (especially since Erinn and Lindsey are off in the summer and we would be doing so much together). We are slowly beginning to make some new friends (one friend I have met is from my hometown and she just moved to Denver too. Small world!) I am joining a Mom's Club in hopes to meet some people too. I am looking forward to September when Mason starts school, MOPS will start and we will get into a good routine. I signed Mason up for soccer too, so surely we will meet people through all of that!

| We love the Denver Children's Museum. There is plenty for both Mason and Evie to do. |
| He really loves this big fire truck |
| the bubble room |
| patiently waiting in line to check out |
| On our way to the zoo. It was a fun day, not sure why I didn't take any other pictures! |

| Our little mess. I was in the office for about 2 minutes and I hear Mason saying "no Evie." I didn't think anything of it because I hear this about a million times a day. Then Mason yells for me to come look at Evie, so I casually walk in there to see this! I have NO idea how she managed to climb that chair! I of course had to take a picture before I got her down. :) She has no fear when it comes to getting food! haha! |

| Nothing else to do: We can always go to Target! |
Matthew had to go to Fort Worth for a few days for work, so we decided to get a ticket for Mason so he could go stay with Granna for a few days. He was so excited to get to ride on the plane and I'm pretty sure Matthew loved having a little travel companion.
| Ready to go see Granna |
| Dropping my boys off. Mason seemed so big to me. He kept his backpack on the whole time and made friends with the security people. |
| A little snack before take off. |
| Matthew said he asked a million questions the whole flight. |
| Granna took him swimming, to the movies, to get donuts, McDonald's, and donuts. I know they had a great time together! |
| Evie and I went back to the museum. They have a huge padded room where she can crawl and play as much as she wants. |
| This walker is Evie's favorite toy right now. I'm not sure why Mason never had one, but she uses it all day long. Her preferred way to use it is by walking on her knees! She is fast! |
| Uh oh she is stuck! |
| Now she is trying the whole walking on her feet thing |
| This might be the best $2.99 I have ever spent. This ball is the ONLY thing he plays with all day long. |
| cute girl. I love that her shoes and bow match! :) |
| more walking on her knees. I might need to get her some knee pads! |
Is Evelyn walking???? I need to get H a walker for his b-day.
ReplyDeleteThe museum looks like so much fun. Mason looks so big as a jet-setter. I miss him!
