Winter Park Days 1 & 2

We decided that this year we were going to rent a condo in Winter Park for Christmas with Matthew's family.  Caroline was supposed to fly in on Christmas night, but with all the bad weather in Dallas she didn't make it here until late on the 26th.  We went on to Winter Park that afternoon and she had a driver bring her to us around midnight.

When we got there we found a spot for lunch and played at the downtown park for a little while.  We were instructed by Aunt CC to not do anything fun until she got there, so we just went ahead and got settled into the condo to wait for her.  The condo was perfect, had just the right amount of space and it was close to everything.  I hope we can try to make this an annual tradition and that Uncle Eric can come next year!

Thursday morning the kids were excited that we were all together and ready to go play.  We went to the park and sledded down the hills for awhile.  Then we went to lunch and decided to go walk around the Winter Park Resort and scope things out for skiing.  It was a very cold day, but colder temps were in for the next few days.  We were always bundled up and stayed pretty warm most of the time.

playing at the park- could she be any cuter?!  We called her our Russian baby doll the whole week.
this is what it looked like anytime we went somewhere

Does it look cold or what?  Ready for sledding!

I think you should make it a yearly tradition. I think it sounds like such a great idea!
