First Day of School

The kids started school last week.  Mason is in Jr. Kindergarten and goes Monday-Thursday 9-1.  I am excited for him to have this year to get ready for Kinder.  His classroom is big and set up like a Kindergarten room, with centers and all sorts of fun things.  He is really enjoying it all so far, and the Science center is his favorite.

Evie is in the Toddler Playschool room and goes Mondays and Tuesdays 9-1.  She cried when I left her, but only for a couple of minutes.  When I picked her up she told me she "played babies."  So I guess that was a successful day!

Before Evie's first day, I overheard Mason giving her some advice.  Some things he said were, "Evie, do not be a stinker at school.  You have to listen to your teachers.  The number one rule is that you can not take off your shoes. Be brave, mommy will always come back to get you."  He really is the best big brother!

Not sure where this answer came from.  Most of the time he says he is going to get the gas out of the shale with daddy!
