This weekend we went to Target and ended up buying Mason a tricycle. I was looking at the red Radio Flyer one, but Mason was hooked on this Cars themed one, and so was Matthew because it was already put together! ha! He still needs some practice, but he is starting to get the hang of pedaling. If he could have his way, he would just put his feet up and be pushed!
On Sunday morning, I had the idea to take Mason to his first movie at the movie theater to see Hop. Well, I should have done more research on the movie because I thought it was all animated but it wasn't. It had "real" people and a real story line and it just didn't hold his interest. We also learned not to get there at the time the movie starts because the previews take way too much time. Mason had already finished his icee by the time the movie actually started! He was amazed at the "big ol' TV" as he kept calling it though! We left about 30 minutes into it because he was standing up and talking. Oh well, we tried! I think we will wait until Cars 2 comes out in June to try again!
He was happy with his icee, popcorn and M&M's!
We are on the verge of getting Mira a tricycle, too! We practice at Toys R Us everytime we go, and she's getting pretty good! We came very very close yesterday, but her bounce house has been ordered, so we thought we would wait.
ReplyDeleteMason looks so cute sitting in the theater even though it didn't work out! Well, I think he would call it a success - popcorn, icee, AND M&M's?! FUN!! He'll be begging to go back and see the big ol' tv!! =)
How cute! I love the last one. My mom told me that there was a new animated movie coming out about a bird or something. Maybe that would work.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Bennett loves his tricycle...he calls it is motorcycle. He would like to be pushed waaaaaaay more than pedal!
