Bittersweet

We found out last week that Matthew will start working in the Dallas office. He is excited to work on new projects, so I know that this is the best move for us right now. We will also be closer to family, which will be nice especially now that we will have another baby. I am also excited to be close to Lez and Joel again and watch our kids grow up together. It is sad though, because we have grown to love it here (which I never would have thought 3 years ago!) We have made the greatest friends we could have ever asked for, found a great church, a great school for Mason, and the list could go on and on. We absolutely love our house here and I am really sad to leave it. Shreveport really has become "home" to us. My emotions have definitely been all over the place when I think about moving.


We went to Dallas last week to look at houses. It is much harder to look in a big city. We have a lot to consider- commute time for Matthew, school districts, neighborhoods, etc. Matthew will be making weekly trips to Dallas and we will just live week by week for the next few months! Not my idea of fun since I am the planner in the family! :)

I know I will have lots more to say once the move is closer. We just got our house listed, so now it is a waiting game as to when we will sell it. I have been really stressed out considering I am having this baby in 10 weeks, but I know that God has a plan for us and everything will workout in His timing! I am wanting to know if this baby will be a Texan or Louisianian though!

We moved from Texas to Louisiana when I was pregnant with Mason, and now back to Texas while I am pregnant with this baby. Let's hope if/when I get pregnant again, that we will stay put!
