Mason-isms

Mason is always saying something that makes us laugh.  Lindsey did this with Bennett, so I thought I would write some things down off the top of my head that Mason says.

  • One day when Matthew was driving Mason to Fort Worth to meet my mom, they stopped for lunch at McDonald's.  Mason had been seeing the Golden Arches all along I20 and was evidently hungry, so when he got his nuggets, he opened them and immediately bowed his head to pray.  He said "Dear Jesus, Thank God we found the nuggets.  Amen."  LOL!  We laugh and laugh at this.  Love that he said "found" the nuggets like he had been looking for them forever!
  • His "L's" are pronounced like "W's" which I think is so cute.  Some words are:  wook (look),  wove (love), wike (like), Wezee, woading (loading), etc.
  • One morning while I was getting Evie dressed he said out of the blue:  "my sister is soooo pretty"
  • He mixes up "can't" and "don't", so he will say "I can't like it" if he doesn't like something.
  • One day I asked him what Evie was going to call him when she gets bigger and he said, "she can call me Big Timin' Baby!"  (thanks Matthew for teaching him that phrase!)
  • Every night before bed he tells Matthew, "Adios, Muchachos"
  • Matthew usually calls me Case instead of Casey especially if he is calling me from across the house.  So lately if Mason is upstairs and wants me he yells  "Case!"  I asked him what my name was and he said "Mommy Case"
  • McDonalds is pronounced McDongals
  • Announcing what the family drinks:  "Evie drinks milk, Mason drinks juice, Mommy drinks Diet Coke and water, Daddy drinks beer"
  • He gets an M&M for going tee tee on the potty, so there have been a few times that either Matthew or I have been in the bathroom and Mason runs to get us an M&M and says "Good Job going tee tee on the potty Mommy.  Here is your ONE M&M"
  • He was with Matthew a few weeks ago and Matthew got a flat tire.  Mason sat in the car and must have watched everything that Matthew was doing.  A few days later we look at Mason is laying on the ground under his Cozy Coupe fixing the tire.  I asked him what he was doing and he said he needed to take the tire off so that he could put the new one on like Daddy did.  The funny thing is that it was the exact same tire on his car that went "flat".

I know that there is more that I'm forgetting, so I am going to try to keep a record of things more often.
