iPhone update

We have been spending most of our days outside.  I am still not used to the fact that 90 is the high in August and that this is a record in Denver for hottest summer ever.  I won't know what to think next summer if it is only in the 80's!  Anyways, I seem to go to a different park everyday and each day I think it is my favorite until I find another one.

Looking for a book at the library

You can't see him, but Mason is hanging on in the middle of this thing.  We usually go to story time and then to this park each Wednesday.

This boy LOVES rocks.  I mean seriously loves them!  Each time I do his laundry there are at least 3 rocks in the washing machine that were in his pockets.  He picks them up and carries them with him everywhere.  Last week, Matthew took him to the bookstore and he would not put this book down.  Matthew tried to get him to get another book and this is what he wanted.  He will turn each page and want us to tell him the names of the rocks.  One morning last week Matthew was leaving for work, and noticed that Mason's lamp was on.  He was just laying in bed reading this book.

Matthew showed him this page one time and now he goes and finds it and says that "this is where daddy works."

Another park.  The parking lot is above and behind the top of the slide.  You can enter the playground by going down the stairs or the slide.  Mason chose the slide.  :)

the splash area.  this one also had a huge tree house

Evie loves this water feature at the children's museum.  I'm so glad I got a membership here.  They both are entertained for hours!

His favorite thing to do in the morning after Matthew leaves for work is to come and eat his breakfast on daddy's side of the bed.  He thinks it's hilarious to leave crumbs in his bed for the night!  I love this snuggle time I get before Evie wakes up.

This is my favorite place this week.  It's another one where the parking lot is above and you come down that big treehouse.

This is just half of the spash park area.
