Week with Mimi

My mom came to stay with us for a week.  It was nice to have extra help, especially since Matthew was out of town for some of it.  We fit in as much as we could; we went to the museum, aquarium, shopped, played at the park, and Mimi took them on long walks everyday.

We went on a 4D adventure ride, and it was so much fun.  I kept looking over at Mason and he had the biggest smile on his face the whole time.

Matthew's birthday is on the 18th and my mom's is on the 21st, so we got to celebrate both of them.  We had a great dinner at a fun Mexican restaurant and then came home for cake and presents.  Mason picked out Matthew's presents all by himself.  He got him Angry Birds pj pants and boxers, a box of pens, car air freshener, a plunger, and a spray for his windows.  :)

I ordered a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, and it is probably the best cake I've ever had!  Mason has even requested one for his birthday.

Mimi spent hours playing volleyball outside with him.  Matthew and I were relieved to have a break from that!  :)
