Easter Weekend

Granna, Aunt B, and Jordan came to see us for Easter this year.  Luckily, the weather was nice, so we could enjoy being outside most of the weekend.  Matthew cooked us some great meals on the egg, and we just enjoyed being together.

Saturday afternoon, we got a sitter for the kids and we all went downtown and toured some breweries.  Matthew has done this before, but it was my first time and we thought everyone else would like to do it too.  We came home in time for dinner and a glow in the dark egg hunt.

Sunday morning we got up to see what the Easter Bunny brought and had an egg hunt.  Then we went to the 9:30 service at church and to brunch.  We all came home and took naps and then got ready for the Rangers Opening Day game.  We decided to make it a true baseball affair and had hot dogs and french fries for dinner.  Mason loved playing baseball outside with Jordan and daddy all weekend.  We missed Aunt CC and Eric, and look forward to when we can all be together again.

Jordan was such a good sport and played baseball with Mason all weekend.

We had a glow in the dark egg hunt Saturday night.  My pictures didn't really turn out, but it was fun and Mason got a big kick out of it.

We planted jelly beans and were anxious to see what they turned into on Easter morning.

The Easter Bunny did a good job this year.  They both got swimsuits, beach towels, and Rangers jerseys.  Evie also got books, water paints, bubbles, chap stick, Raggedy Ann and Andy, play dough, a swim coverup and some other toys.  Mason got some Avengers stuff, bubbles, candy, a yo-yo, a new Bible, a DVD, Spider Man flip flops and some other toys.
