We flew into Dallas on Thursday night. The kids did great on the flight there considering we sat on the plane for 40 minutes before it even took off. I was having to pull out snacks about ten minutes after we got on. It was worth the money to get the seats with extra leg room because Evie just stood and sat and played between us. There was even room for her to share a seat with Mason. Mason, of course, was content with candy and the iPad. All in all, it was a good first leg of the trip!

Granna was there to pick us up and we headed straight to dinner for some Tex-Mex. Aunt CC and Eric met us there. Mason was so excited to see everyone!
Friday, we spent the morning with Lezlee and Sophia. We never get long enough with them!

Friday night, Pops took us to the Ranger game. Evie got to stay home and play with Granna. Mason loved every minute of it. I hope we can continue to take him to at least one Ranger game a year.
Saturday night, Lezlee and Joel were nice enough to keep the kids while we were at the shower. They ended up spending the night since we knew the shower would be over late. Mason and Sophia play really well together, and Sophia and Evie are getting better. We will force those two to be best friends eventually! :) They love spending time with the Hernandez family!

Sunday afternoon we flew home. I didn't get any pictures because Evie was in a horrible mood. She cried the whole time at the airport and once we boarded she screamed for about ten minutes and then fell fast asleep. She slept for most of the flight and Mason watched Curious George. They did great with all the busyness and travel and were completely worn out once we got home. Now we get to do it all over again in a week for the wedding!
