Day at the Rockies

On Sunday, Mason's tee ball team was able to walk the field before the Rockies game.  We all loaded up on the train and headed downtown.  We had to be there at 11:30 even though the game didn't start until 2.  Matthew and Mason were standing in line in the parking lot the whole time, but the rest of us were able to go into the ballpark at noon.  As soon as we entered, it started pouring down rain.  We ate lunch and just waited and hoped that the rain would stop.  I was carrying Charlotte in the sling while covering her up with a blanket and jacket to keep her warm and dry.  It definitely wasn't ideal baseball weather, but at least we weren't hot!
Finally, around 1:30 the rain stopped and the teams started walking on the field.  I'm not sure who was more excited, Mason or Matthew!  We were able to watch a couple of innings before it started sprinkling again.  We had a 15 minute walk to the train, so we decided to get going.  The girls were soaked, but they all had a good time and were so good.  It was a fun day even with the rain!

the sun was out here, but was rainy once we got downtown

Evie was holding Papa's hand on the train so that he wouldn't be scared.

Charlotte enjoyed her first train ride

this is how we all felt after that afternoon!
