Father's Day Weekend

When I asked Matthew what he wanted to do for Father's Day he said he wanted to stay home and cook on the egg.  So that's what we did!
Friday night I had a MOPS Señorita and Margarita party at Jamie's house.  We had a great time sitting outside talking, eating, and drinking.
Saturday Mason got to play a team with friends from school on it, but it got rained out in the first inning.  Mason was on base, and all of his friends were calling his name from the outfield.  It was pretty cute, but Mason stayed serious.  He was excited to see them after the game though.
Mason with Isaac and Laith.  Gavin left before he could get in the picture.  These four boys were the only boys in JK and were so close.  I hate that they are all going to different elementary schools.  They are a sweet bunch.
Evie had to take all of this to the game.

Sunday, we woke up and made breakfast for Matthew and let him open his gifts.  I got him a new apron and an iGrill2.  Mason picked out legos and Evie wanted to get him a ball.  She decided he would like a princess ball best.  Matthew took the big kids to the nursery to pick out some flowers for our front porch.  Of course, he let them pick out what they wanted so Mason chose orange and yellow, and Evie chose pink and purple.  They don't look great, but the kids loved it!  We spent the rest of the day outside and cooking a Mexican fiesta for dinner.  We also made his favorite peanut butter and banana cake.

The gifts from kids.  Evie saw the beer card and said "daddy will love this because he loves beer!"  :)

These two have the best time putting Legos together.

We are so lucky to have this guy.  I couldn't ask for a better partner to raise these kids, and they couldn't have a better dad!
