PV Part 3- Pool Pictures

We lucked out with the water slide area.  It was the perfect depth for Mason to be able to touch and swim, and we put the puddle jumper on Evie.  She could walk in some spots, but the deeper areas she was safe in the puddle jumper and could swim around from slide to slide.  They stayed together and went from slide to slide all the while Matthew and I could sit at a table with Charlotte in the shade and enjoy some drinks, read, and relax.  I for sure thought that we wouldn't get any down time, so that was a pleasant surprise.  There was also a shaded area underneath the pirate ship that we could sit with Charlotte and let her cool off.  She loved the water.  We also loved swimming in the two pools.
Thanks to trip advisor, I learned some tips that helped us.  One was getting up early and going to save your table at the water park area.  There were only ten tables, so they went pretty quick.  Matthew would get up around 7:30 and go put our towels on it and then once we were done with the beach, we had a secured spot in the shade where we could watch the kids on the slides.
Mason couldn't get over how he wasn't cold when he got out of the water.  He has been in Colorado too long!

Getting in the pool for the first time

The white slide was their favorite.  A big bucket would fill up with water and then dump out on top of it as they slid down.

Monday, 10am, and a margarita in hand.  Can't get much better!
Just waking up from a nap and getting hot.  Check out those thighs!

They probably had no less than 5 smoothies a day.  They had names like Captain America, Green Lantern, Happy Baby, etc.  They even started going up to the bar to order and would say "gracias"

I told her to smile and she popped her hip out.

We loved watching their routine.  They had a certain order that they would do the slides in and then certain areas they would walk and jump.  They did it over and over and over again!

and what happens when I ask Evie for a pic

This was at lunch Wednesday.  We just thought she was tired... but about 30 minutes after this is when the vomiting started.
The boys went to the pool while we stayed and napped.  Poor girl felt terrible.  I was really surprised that she didn't freak out over throwing up since it was her first time.  She would say "bring me the trash can, I'm going to choke up!"  I threw her clothes away that were soaked in poop and vomit since I had no way of washing them.  I was scrubbing her blanket and lovies in the sink with bottle soap just trying to get it out.  Those were the first things to go into the washer when we got home!
Nothing says vacation like suckers in bed watching a movie at 9pm!

We couldn't have asked for a happier baby.

Mason napped the first few days, but on Friday and Saturday he didn't fall asleep.  I took him to the pool while Matthew stayed with the sleeping girls and we had the best time.

We loved this pool over looking the ocean.  I didn't get a picture of the other pool we liked.
