She Said YES!

We have been planning Sarah's proposal since May, so we were so ready for it to get here.  Jordan wanted us all to be a part of it which we were so thankful for.  It all came together so perfectly, and I know Sarah loved it all!  I wish I had saved all the texts and emails between Donna, Caroline and I these last few months.  It was a very detailed day and I hope it turned out just the way he wanted it to.
The proposal:  Kylde Warren Park downtown Dallas.  Sarah had made plans to meet Kelsey and Brent for dinner at a restaurant in the park on Saturday night.  When they got there Jordan told her he had something else in mind and started walking with her.  Up the path in sidewalk chalk the verse Love is Patient and Kind were written.  That led them to a little table that Caroline had decorated with flowers.  He proposed in the rain and then the photographer took some pictures of them.  I love that the proposal was private, but that a photographer could capture it all.
Afterwards, a car came to pick them up and Jordan told her that she couldn't call anyone or ask any questions about what was next.  I know once they were on I45 she knew they were headed to Ennis, but she said she just thought she was going to see her parents.  The car pulled up to Bob and Suzi's and just about all of their family and friends were standing in the yard with champagne.  I'm pretty sure she first lost it when she saw Mason and Evie, and then again when she realized how far some friends and traveled to be with her.  Such a fun night and I feel so honored that we all got to be a part of it.  We are so happy to have Jordan become an official uncle next year!

I didn't get any pictures of the decor or food, but these cookies turned out really cute.

These next pictures are what the photographer captured during the actual proposal.

Jordan said he was so nervous, so he just started praying with her.

How beautiful is she?!  You would never know that it was raining on them the entire time.
