We went to Ennis on Thursday night because Matthew was playing in the Cancer golf tournament over the weekend. Friday morning was Mason's birthday, so we woke him up singing to him and gave him some Elmo balloons. We then loaded up (with Mason still in his pj's) and went to the Donut store. Mason had his first donuts and loved them! He kept saying "yummy"! I think he ate 6 donuts holes and half of a chocolate! He was on a sugar high that morning!
We then took Mason home to get dressed and to see Pops and Granna at work.
Granna had her friend Lorraine make Mason a birthday cake. I thought it turned out so cute!
Such a big boy!
Lezlee and Joel came in on Friday night, so we had to go see her.
Saturday night, we left Mason with Granna. The golf tournament had a catfish dinner and the Calcutta. 
Here are the golfers. I don't think they played very well, but they had a great time.
Aunt Sarah loved getting to spend so much time with Mason. She hadn't seen him since May! 
Pops' (Mike) parents drove to Ennis so that they could see the birthday boy.
We didn't get home until 9 on Sunday night, so it was a long weekend, but we had a lot of fun. Mason was so funny this weekend. His little personality is really starting to show. He had a good time entertaining us all.
Sounds like a fun birthday tradition you've just started...doughnuts in your pj's first thing in the morning!!! Good stuff!!! =)
