I finally did it!

Well, here it goes, my first blog post. I have been reading blogs for awhile and decided since I don't scrapbook, that this is the best way to document our lives. I hope I can keep it up!

I have been trying to come up with a blog name for awhile and Cowboys to Cajuns came to me last week. I don't think that Matthew or I ever thought we would live somewhere other than Texas, but here we are 2 and a half years later living in Shreveport and loving it. We still root for the Cowboys (not the Saints) and we are still Big 12 fans (no purple and gold in this house!) Matthew works in Oil & Gas and I am a stay at home mom. I absolutely love my job and can't imagine doing anything else! Mason is the light of our lives and we thank God everyday for letting us be his parents. Mason will be 2 on Friday which is so hard to believe. He continues to amaze us and make us laugh everyday.

We have lots coming up this month, so I hope to have a lot to blog about! I need to learn how to post pictures and make my blog look cute so bear with me while I figure this stuff out...
